Pop Culture Odds and Ends – Festival Recovery Edition

Sigh. I’m getting old.

Last weekend I was in Boston for a music festival – more on that to come – and while it was a really fun time, it completely threw my entire schedule out of whack. I used to bounce back much more quickly, but this minor disruption in my sleep and eating patterns has really messed me up. I got home from the festival very early Monday morning and here it is Wednesday and I’m still trying to recover. My back hurts, my knee is all screwed up and I alternate between being exhausted and having insomnia. I just can’t rock and roll quite like I used to.

But my pain is your gain, since being wide awake until 3 am gave me plenty of time to curate this week’s pop culture roundup. As usual, I’ve cast a wide net to try and collect all the pop culture that you may have missed in the last seven days.

Don’t forget that I’m blogging for charity this month; if you like this post – or the blog in general – please drop by the blog’s fundraising page for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

And now while I pop some ibuprofen and try to get my sleep back to normal, on to all things pop.
