Pop Culture Odds and Ends – Amtrak Edition

I’m back from my thrilling grant writing bootcamp adventure; I learned a lot, met some nice people (hi Hannah) and got the closest thing to a vacation that I’m going to get for a while. So all in all, it was a productive few days. Of course even with keeping up on work email covertly, I’m still way behind on a tone of stuff. But I didn’t want to leave you all hanging, so I used my my train ride home and Amtrak’s free wi-fi to get the pop culture roundup completed. See – I care about you people.

My fundraising campaign for the Children’s Tumor Foundation is coming to a close, but there is still time to make a donation if you are so inclined. You can never say thank you enough, so once again, from the bottom of my heart, a sincere appreciation to all of you who supported the blog and this worthwhile cause. Y’all are the best.

So without further ado…catch up on all the pop culture that you may have missed in the last week with this installment of the pop culture roundup.
